whisky, family and tradition

There is a certain charm in finding yourself in front of a glass of whisky with other enthusiasts. An experience that strengthens bonds and enriches our minds and our spirits.

On November 8, at the historic Hofer Market in Vipiteno, a whisky tasting was held. It was an opportunity to discover new labels, learn more about the culture of this ancient spirit and, of course, let your senses guide you.
This is now a regular event in the store's calendar, which renews its tradition every year by welcoming experts, enthusiasts and producers in a convivial and genuine atmosphere.

Guests included Joe and Beate Riedmüller, the Poli distillery, the Bolzano Whisky Club, and, of course, Fabio Rossi of Wilson & Morgan, accompanied by the new brand ambassador Armin Kousminski (interviewed at the Innsbruck Whisky Fair).
To make it even more exciting, there was also a surprise raffle with a limited edition bottle up for grabs, a little dream for every whisky lover.

I had already had the pleasure of talking to Fabio Rossi exactly one year ago, in an interview published on YouTube.
It was a meeting that struck me for his humility and the depth with which he talks about the world of whisky.

Hofer Market: a family story

In the heart of South Tyrol, Hofer Market tells a family story that spans three generations. It all began in 1969, when Walter and Sabina Hofer opened a small village shop. Since then, their passion for authentic, quality products has been passed down from father to son. Today, Toni Hofer runs the business together with his daughter Sabine.

Their specialization in wines and spirits has made the shop a reference point for connoisseurs and curious visitors alike, a place where tradition meets taste. During the event, I had the pleasure of capturing a special moment: Toni and Sabine Hofer, father and daughter, side by side, symbolizing a continuity that is not only in the name but also in the passion that has driven this family for almost seventy years.

Thanks to the Hofer family, Fabio Rossi, and all those who make moments like this possible. Events that remind us that whisky is not just a drink, but a way of being together and sharing stories.

See you at the next dram.
